HIGH prices, but wonderful items! I just wish i had the money to buy everything in the store!
While in town for an arts and crafts festival, my friends and I wandered into this shop. Initially, we were very excited because they offer some great looking products. The store was busy with people looking around. I found a tea towel for my mother in law, finished looking around, and proceeded to go to the register. The woman at the counter took the towel (never acknowledged me with a hello, howdy, nod of the head, or anything) quoted the total and THEN looked at me. Mind you, the store is full of shoppers and all of the staff is behind the counter talking to each other. I almost didn't complete the purchase due to their lack of customer service. (On a day when you have your doors open to invite people inside, please have a greeter there to 'welcome' people. Have someone say hello. Have someone else positioned in the back to offer assistance. I am sure your profits will benefit from the labor wage rather than having them lean against the counters.)
The pricing is a bit high, but the items in the store are very creative and well made.
Great customer service!!! I needed a cute small but special gift for my daughter's teacher. I called ahead and spoke with Shannon Venturini, one of the store owners. She suggested a few items to me and let me know they would set the items aside for my husband to pick up the following day. When I got home I saw the gift basket that Anna Bananas put together and it was perfect. Shannon and Diane Venturini made it so simple to get a personalized, local gift. I would recommend this store to anyone and everyone!

You get a charge just walking into Anna Bananas. It's creative, refreshing, different. You won't find the same old, mind numbing, 'cutesy' fare, that seems to dominate most trendy, ''small town' shopping venues. Anna Banana's has SUBSTANCE! Their merchandise shows imagination, attention to detail ...and YES!...THOUGHT! Whether recycled, re-purposed or new... their furnishings and accent decor are unique... something you'd actually feel good putting in your home, or proud to give as a gift. The staff is knowledgeable and 'wonderfully DeLand'...small town friendly. A shopping jaunt through Anna' Bananas is '' FUN!!! Don't miss it!
