Beware!! Don't believe positive reviews after August 2017! Read the reviews of people who say they have been Bellini's customers for 10 - 20 - 30 years or more and who will NEVER go back. The food and service are really that bad. And no, the negative reviews are not because we (the community) didn't give the new owners a chance, despite comments made by certain people associated with them. We wanted Bellini's to continue to offer the great food we have all come to love but that's not at all what the new place is offering.
This place use to be amazing but unfortunately has since changed hands. Not only was my corned beef sandwich significantly smaller but they forgot to bring out my grandfather's spaghetti and meatballs. He had to sit there for ten minutes without food.
It was so good! Will definitely be back. All the guys were super nice and the food was great and really filling. The dinners come with a nice bread and a salad and the prices are pretty good. Worth every penny. They were steady when I came in and stayed pretty busy the whole time, and this is the end of summer.
It's always tough when a well known, long term, family owned and operated business changes hands. Tough on the community when a favorite item or server is no longer there; and tough on the new owner when the community learns that the original owner has sold the business. Such it is at Bellini's. It's a different place today. Different approach with different results. I wish the new owners luck but there are challenges ahead. Currently I can't give a positive review. I think the new owners are still tying to find their way. Food today was slow to arrive but ok....there was only 8 people there on a Friday at noon BTW. Service was attentive but also is aware of the challenges ahead. We'll see. But I'm not hopeful unfortunately.
First visit since Scott sold the restaurant. Been getting a hot italian sub for over 10 years and today will be my last. It was not hot! It was not messy! Scott made the best Italian subs around. Even the macaroni salad was totally different. should have known something was up when I could find a parking spot and the place was empty at lunch. Definitely a totally different restaurant now. It makes me sad that the real Bellini's is gone forever. Best wishes to Scott and family though.
